The
BFCCPS Parent Community Organization, Inc.
WELCOME &
WELCOME BACK!
What is the PCO?
The PCO is a parent
volunteer organization that supports the school by organizing volunteers for
various programs and by providing financial assistance through fundraising for
Arts Enrichment Programs, Teacher Grants, Field Day, and other items not
available through school funds. We also strive through our social programs and
volunteer opportunities to foster a sense of community and commitment among all
BFCCPS families and staff.
THE PCO IS YOU!
As the parent/guardian
of a BFCCPS student, you are automatically a member of PCO. What is most
important to the success of our organization and activities is that ALL FAMILIES
get involved in one way or another.
From volunteering, to
leading a committee, to simply ordering items during an annual fundraiser, every
bit helps and will directly impact our students. We must have volunteers in
order to run our programs.
Please take the time to
review PCO notices sent home in the weekly Pink Sheet, highlighted in our
published newsletters, posted on our webpage, and distributed via email through
our Yahoo distribution list.
Please also do not hesitate
to contact any member of the PCO Board if you have questions or comments.
Volunteers are truly the key to our success and so we thank you in advance for
volunteering your time and talents with PCO.
PCO meetings are an
opportunity to discuss upcoming events at school, plan future activities, share
ideas, and socialize. Most importantly, these meetings are an excellent
opportunity to get involved in our school. Our first meeting will be Monday,
Sept 8th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Library.
We
look forward to meeting and working with you. Wishing you and your students a
wonderful start to the new school year!
Do you have a
