Bullying Prevention and Intervention Plan
The document below is the BFCCPS Bullying Prevention
and Intervention Plan. In the spring of 2010 the Massachusetts legislature
passed a law defining bullying, and making requirements on how schools address,
and report bullying. As part of this law, each school district was asked to
develop and communicate a plan that makes clear to all, the schools plans and
procedures regarding instances of bullying.
Every student deserves a safe environment to learn. Our
unique mission has prepared BFCCPS well to address the demands of this law.
Character Education is something that defines us, and something we believe we do
exceptionally well. As you will see our approach to combating bullying is
informed by our 15 year history of doing what works.
